Credit Card Denial Codes & Explanations

If your credit card is declined in the shopping cart, your credit card bank will send you a response code which is displayed in the shopping cart. When you fill out the billing address form in the shopping cart, the information is sent to your bank for verification, and the response is what they send back in reference to the address information you provide.

The below explanations are here to help you determine why your bank declined your attempt to charge your credit card.

Every attempt that you make to charge your card in the shopping cart may result in an "Authorization" on your card.

If you are declined multiple times, we highly recommend that you pay by PayPal. PayPal is our preferred method of payment.

Codes to Determine Why Your Bank Declined Your Card:

Response: Do Not Honor - Your bank has declined your use of this credit card. This is normally due to lack of funds, or a block by your bank on the card. You MUST call the bank, and once they have cleared the block, place your order again. Do not attempt to try the charge again, as you have already been denied by your bank, and you will be denied repeatedly unless you call them. Alternatively, you can simply try using another credit card or pay by PayPal, our preferred payment method.

AVS response: A Zip Match / Zip 4 Match / Locale no match - Your bank is telling the shopping cart that the Billing Zip Code you entered is correct, but your address is otherwise incorrect. Because of this, DJDeals Inc. has declined your transaction due to your failure to input your correct Billing Street Address. If you may have made a mistake, go back and fix it. If too many attempts are made, you will be reported to the credit card company for fraud risk.

AVS response: Z Locale no match - Your bank is telling the shopping cart that the Billing Street Address you entered is incorrect. Because of this, DJDeals Inc. has declined your transaction due to your failure to input your correct Billing Street Address. If you may have made a mistake, go back and fix it. If too many attempts are made, you will be reported to the credit card company for fraud risk.

AVS response: F Zip did not match - Your bank is telling the shopping cart that the Billing Zip Code you entered is incorrect. Because of this, DJDeals Inc. has declined your transaction due to your failure to input your correct Billing Zip Code. If you may have made a mistake, go back and fix it. If too many attempts are made, you will be reported to the credit card company for fraud risk.

AVS response: G No match at all - Your bank is telling the shopping cart that the Billing Street Address & the Billing Zip Code you entered is incorrect. Because of this, DJDeals Inc. has declined your transaction due to your failure to input your correct Billing Street Address. If you may have made a mistake, go back and fix it. If too many attempts are made, you will be reported to the credit card company for fraud risk.

AVS response: R Issuer does not participate in AVS - We have declined your transaction due to the fact that your bank does not participate in Card Verification Code System. If your bank does not participate in the Card Verification Code System you will need to choose another payment method.

AVS response: Unsupported by Issuer - We have declined your transaction due to the fact that your bank does not participate in Card Verification Code System. If your bank does not participate in the Card Verification Code System you will need to choose another payment method.
